Founded in Stafford in 2000 and part of Polygiene Group since 2021, we combine technical knowledge with practical manufacturing, testing, regulatory and marketing support. Our Story

Addmaster began in Stafford with a focus on developing additive technologies for polymers. Since then, our work has expanded across plastics, paints and coatings, paper and board, textiles and other suitable materials, supporting manufacturers and brands in markets around the world.

Throughout that development, our starting point has remained the finished product. An additive must do more than offer an interesting function. It needs to suit the material, work within the manufacturing process and deliver performance that can be assessed in the intended application.

That approach shapes the way we work today. We bring material development and commercial requirements into the same conversation, helping customers consider how a technology will be incorporated, evaluated and explained to their market.

Joining Polygiene Group in 2021 marked the next stage in our development. Addmaster remains based in Stafford, supporting customers through our team and international distributor network.

What We Do

Biomaster is our silver-ion antimicrobial technology. Available in masterbatch, liquid and powder formats, it can be incorporated into suitable materials during manufacture or introduced through an appropriate coating or treatment.
Verimaster is an invisible authentication technology designed to help manufacturers verify genuine products and materials. The marker is incorporated into the product and detected using dedicated verification equipment.
Scentmaster enables fragrance to be incorporated into suitable materials during manufacture, helping brands introduce an additional sensory element into the finished product.
When an application requires functionality beyond our established technologies, Masterpiece provides a route for developing bespoke additive solutions around the product, material and manufacturing requirements
