Biomaster partner Radwraps has developed a new generation of hygienic radiator covers for nurseries and nursing homes.
Radwraps is a unique radiator covering system designed to freshen up a tired old radiator to brighten up a room or apply a finishing touch to a unique themed room. The specially formulated technology of Radwraps magnetic sheets does not cause any heat loss and they can be fitted in seconds.
In collaboration with Liverpool John Moores University research team, the Merseyside-based company has now launched Radwraps 2.0, a specially formulated magnetic radiator cover which has a triple cell padded system.
The covers lower surface temperature below the HSE standard, eliminating any chance of accidental burns from the surface, protects from bumps and knocks and has no ambient room temperature loss.
The new system is also available with inbuilt Biomaster antimicrobial technology. Biomaster inhibits the growth of harmful bacteria on the radiator surface, providing a more hygienic environment 24/7.
Radwraps Director James Maddocks says: "Our work with LJMU shows that our decorative magnetic radiator covers can offer improved heating system energy performance.
Now we can provide nurseries and nursing homes with a radiator cover which protects from burns and bumps, decorated with any image or design and can protect the radiator surface by inhibiting the growth of harmful bacteria".
Antibacterial Radwraps are available in a wide range of colourful patterns and designs or can be custom-designed with any picture supplied by the customer. Radwraps are available in any width and up to two metres high and will last for the life of the radiator.
