How Biomaster is Added

Adding Biomaster additives to your product is much easier than you probably think. Available in masterbatch, liquid and powder forms, we can work with you to find a solution for any material.

So how can you add Biomaster to your product? Here is a brief explanation of some of the most common methods used by our customers:

Biomaster Masterbatch

Biomaster is easily added to any plastic / polymer. Adding Biomaster masterbatch to your plastic only imparts antimicrobial properties and does not affect the colour or surface finish of the material it is added to. 

Biomaster antimicrobial masterbatch can also be added to your textiles to provide the same long-lasting antimicrobial properties, without any effect on colour or surface finish.

Adding Biomaster masterbatch to a plastic or textile – Biomaster masterbatch should be added to the material during processing at the recommended addition rate.

Biomaster Liquid

In its liquid form, Biomaster can be used in any paper, textile or coating to impart its antimicrobial properties and is available in both a water-based and acrylic forms. As with masterbatch, Biomaster in its liquid form does not affect the colour or finish or any product in which it is used.

Adding Biomaster liquid to a textile – In its liquid form, Biomaster is usually added to the textile as part of the milling process at the recommended addition rate.

Adding Biomaster liquid to a paint, ink or coating – In its liquid form, Biomaster is usually added to an ink or coating at the pre-mix processing stage at the addition rate that we give you.

Adding Biomaster liquid to a paper - In its liquid form, Biomaster is usually added to your paper at the pulping stage at the recommended addition rate.

Biomaster Powder

Biomaster in its powder form can be used in plastics, textiles, paints, papers and more to provide antimicrobial properties.

This antimicrobial powder can be also used in both compounding and antimicrobial powder coating applications.

Adding Biomaster powder to a plastic – In its powder form, Biomaster is usually added to the plastic during processing at the recommended addition rate.

Adding Biomaster powder to a textile – In its powder form, Biomaster is usually added to the textile as part of the milling process at the recommended addition rate.

Adding Biomaster powder to a paint, ink or coating – In its powder form, Biomaster is usually added to the product as part of the pre-mix processing stage at the addition rate that we give you.
