Scentmaster

Scentmaster masterbatches are polymeric carrier systems containing high percentages of a wide range of fragrances, for use in the preparation of perfumed Plastic articles.

Applications

Fragrances for plastics are used in a variety of applications and are playing a growing role in marketing food and beverage packaging and in consumer products for the home.

Due to the Addmaster's unique production process for Scentmaster Fragrance masterbatches, the heat history of the products is not compromised, thus protecting the top notes of fragrances whilst allowing for optimum performance in final application.

Use

Scentmaster products allow standard resin processing temperatures to be used, but it is recommended that holding temperatures are kept as low as is practicable to minimise Fragrance loss during processing.

Scentmaster Fragrance masterbatches are suitable for use in a wide range of processes such as blown and cast film extrusion, injection moulding, synthetic fibre production, extruded sheets, tubes and profiles.

Due to the high concentration of Fragrance contained in Scentmaster, recommended addition rates for Scentmaster products are typically only between 1% and 2% depending upon application.

Standard fragrances are: Green Apple, Lemon, Orange, Strawberry, Pine, Raspberry, Peach, Lavender, Pineapple, Baby Lotion, Cut Grass, Chocolate, Aromatherapy, Rose, Eucalyptus, Floral Bouquet. (This list is not exhaustive and we offer specific matching to meet customers' fragrance requirements).
